Ok seriously you guys, I think these wings are the best I have ever had! If you are having a game night, ordering from them would be the perfect treat for you and your guests! Yes, you can get wings anywhere, but not these kind. It looks like they have been around since 2015. I can't tell if they have more than one food truck...but if they don't, they should seriously consider having at least one more!
First of all, they do have a Facebook page, which I usually don't mention till the end. One thing I am confused by is what they actually call themselves. The food truck Says Carolinas Fines Feat, their Facebook page says My Girls Catering and Food Truck, then their post says Carolinas Finest Wings and Catering, then their menu says, My Girls Catering Carolinas Finest. This can all be misleading, so if you click on this link, it will bring you right to their page so you can like and see where they are going next!

Now let's jump into the good stuff! First of all, their prices. Not bad at all, if you order their meal deal (even though I think a meal deal should include a drink but this is not very popular among food trucks at the moment). I will be a little more greedy and say I do wish there were 6 wings in the individual orders instead of 5. They call them jumbo wings, but I did not notice anything jumbo about them (and honestly that would scare me if they were not usual size lol)!

This was the first food truck I have been at that hands you the vibrator when your order is ready. Since they were in the Tractor Supply parking lot, we decided to go get a few things since we had this. Most of the time, they try yelling out your name and for me and Eli, most of the time they get it wrong, or they don't yell loud enough. Then your food sits, and it gets cold, or other people touch it and open it to see if it's theirs....I think this cut out the mess and confusion! I just hope they sanitize them after each person (Covid or not).

This is their Buffalo Wrap. Eli was disappointed that it was not actually wrapped (I was confused that he even ordered a wrap because he never eats those)! I will say they definitely tossed all the ingredients in the buffalo sauce before adding it to the tortilla because every single ounce of this wrap had buffalo flavor. It was not dry however, we have had better. I don't know what it's missing but you take a bite and you're like hmmm...maybe the lettuce wasn't crunchy enough or the cheese was too melted.....I mean we ate it but remain confused!

These are their Garlic Parm wings....you see all that extra sauce! I love it when there is extra sauce! These one's were my favorite. Even though full of sauce, still crispy! I don't know how many times before I have mentioned that I don't like soggy food! They definitely coat their wings with something before they fry them and I could take a few guesses at what it is (either overnight buttermilk soaked which usually gets wings the crispiest or flour with egg dip, which is usually the quickest way), but I guess their secret will remain with them! I like a good mystery!

These are their Lemon Pepper wings. Now, I was a little shocked that they were dry wings. It was nice that they came with ranch to dip in because I am not a fan of dry wings. I thought they needed more lemon and pepper, but the crunch was there! Eli actually liked these a lot, they weren't his favorite but he thinks they were a nice twist on your traditional wings. Maybe add a lemon wedge on the side, like they do with fish ( I know bad comparison) but that way for people like me who really like lemon, can get that extra sour flavor!

This was one of the meals. It has Bourbon Chicken, potato salad and mac n cheese. These wings were Eli's favorite. I will tell you, you can really taste the bourbon (probably why they are his favorite that alcoholic, just joking)! With these however, they really skimped on the sauce. I was pretty bummed out about that because I felt like I was itching for more of that flavor.
The mac n cheese was pretty good. You can tell that it is homemade. It is actually baked mac n cheese. It was not burnt on the top, but it did not have as much cheese as I like. However, that could have been because I don't feel the cheese was all the way melted. That could be their thing, but I am more of a smooth and creamy mac n cheese girl. My son also loves mac n cheese and he would not eat this one, saying it was weird. Now don't get me wrong, it was good and I did eat it all, it's just not the type I like.
The potato salad on the other hand, I'm not sure if it is homemade. It had that store bought feel to it, except a little more creamy. It did have a miracle whip taste but not over powering to where I would not eat it (I'm not a fan of miracle whip because it gives savory food a sweet taste). Can I be positive that's what it is? No, because it could also be something like paprika that can also give off a sweet taste when you use just the right amount. I did see a picture on their facebook page with the potato salad in a big foil pan (which is indicative of it being homemade) but at the same time, I know a lot of food trucks like to buy premixed items and then add a little extra flavoring on their own (I do that too and it is perfectly fine)! So there is another mystery.

Last but certainly not least, their Wicked, Wicked Lemon Pepper meal. We got fries and baked beans with this one.
Their fries were perfect! Every single one was crispy and had seasoning on it, indicating that they toss them in seasoning and not just pour it over the top (then when you get to the bottom your mouth is confused). The fries are not dark (so I don't think they double fry them) so I am guessing they fry in small batches. However, we do wish they added more fries because when we ran out we were bummed. They came with ketchup, but we didn't open those (we usually only use that when fries are not flavored).
The baked beans are your traditional bakes beans. These didn't taste homemade, but they did add some small pieces of onions, which I like (and surprisingly so did Eli considering he tells people he is allergic...ok I tell people that because it's easier for a restaurant to remember when someone says they are allergic because I hate sending food back). Luckily, neither one of us are that picky when it comes to baked beans.
As for the wings...I did not taste any lemon. I thought they tasted a little spicy, which could be the pepper they mentioned. But don't worry....still crispy and with plenty of sauce! These one's were actually the most sticky out of all of them and I couldn't figure out why (but who cares right!). Oh and in case you didn't notice, both meals came with 4 wings and ranch dressing.
The only bad thing....they didn't give us napkins! Thank goodness I'm a freak and keep them in the truck (along with sanitizing hand wipes). They had good customer service and they actually seem like very fun ladies!
We enjoyed our experience and we will definitely be back! #foodtruckmania
